Dear Tony,
Okay, it took me a while to respond to this. I kept saying, "Is
this guy for real?" But enough about me Tony, I'm going
to be frank with you; if anything else you deserve a straightforward
response to your question.
Your Ideas Are Antiquated
First off, you are 21, so relax, please. You seem to have very
antiquated ideas on women and on dating. Ground yourself in reality.
Prince and princess kind of stuff belongs in fairy tales, not in
someone's ideals. Look at real life royalty and you'll understand
that fairy tales only exist in books and Walt Disney theme parks.
Seek an Alternative Lifestyle
If you don't believe a guy should talk to a girl unless he is 100%
sure that there will not be any emotion going on, then you may want
to seek an alternative lifestyle, because that ain't gonna happen
sweetheart.
We are creatures of emotion, as well as logic, common sense and
a myriad of other details you're going to keep missing out on if
you continue on in your two dimensional world.
Her Life Won't Revolve Around You
On school: College is hard, relationships are hard. But this is
your intro to life. If you do not learn to balance these things
now, you will have a hard time trying to balance them in the workforce.
Understand that Britney/Jennifer is also in college, that she also
has classes, so she will have empathy on these issues. Do not for
once believe her life would revolve around you if you two were to
hook up, that's a surefire way to disaster in a relationship.
Attraction Isn't Love
I would suggest you speak with Britney/Jennifer, because you are
never going to know her unless you talk to her. Attraction isn't
love, it's a step in the right direction, but you can never judge
a book by its cover.
And first and foremost, again, relax. You have a crush; it's no
big deal. You have a choice, talk to her and see if the feeling
is mutual, or don't and never know.
