Are you talking about a relationship with a female type person? Or are you talking about a relationship with anyone, like a friend? Because you certainly don't make yourself seem like a very nice person.

You Don't Sound Safe

You don't mention whether you have any friends, and it doesn't sound like you do. I know even I have a hard time hanging around with guys who think that they are as hardass as you. Throw in the depression problem and the violent temper, and I'm not sure you'd be safe around a dog, unless it was a pitbull.

But his IS hurting himself. A life without intimacy is bad.

Anyway, nobody really changes unless they want to change. If you don't want to change...well, then don't. As long as you are not hurting anyone else, hey go knock yourself out and make some money. This is a big, relatively free country, with a lot of people in it who make their own lives.

As a consenting adult of 21, you should be able to make choices. Many people have made the decision to pursue material goods and forsake everything else. At this point, I think it would be better if you don't look for a girlfriend.

And also, if you happen to see Mr. Sensitive's missing dog, please don't stomp on him.
