I think your instincts
are right on. He is probably very interested in you because:
- You are a professional
(always a good sign of responsibility and income!)
- Your cousin
introduced you (good recommendations are important too)

 You
are not chasing him but have not hidden the fact that you
are interested (letting him know he can make a move if he
gets up the courage!)
These
things may be just as intimidating as they are attractive.
You might have to have a few more group outings with your
cousin, too, before he feels comfortable calling. Just continue
what you are doing; you don't sound like a chaser by nature
so just continue to be interested when he approaches, calls,
etc., but don't chase him down. It wouldn't match your personality
or the type of interaction you have had so far.
That's not to say
you couldn't ask your cousin for another night out! (Plus,
even professionals need to get out sometimes.)
