Jayne's First Bio:

I like giving advice. I won't admit it, because giving advice sounds like something busy bodies like Dear Abby or Ann Landers enjoy, but I'm really good at it.

Despite my sparse experience with romantic relationships, I'm right on target in that department too. I'm an 18-year-old African American young woman who is a first generation college student. Everyone has been telling me that this place will change my life ... but to me it just kind of sucks. I'm a writer and I don't see any reason to go here, where liberal arts means they tell you what to take in order to REALLY do what you want. But in the neighborhood where I'm from not too many kids continue on to college, so I'm expected to go ...

It's not like I can take some time to just "find myself". Where I'm from that's called being lazy. I spend a lot of time analyzing and observing people. So I use logic and am very objective when it comes to solving any kind of problems. Especially when giving no-bones-about-it advice to my friends about relationships.

I learn things intuitively, and I use my intuition along with my logic to analyze the situation and try to figure out a game plan for what you should feel or worry about.

People ask me for advice all of the time. And mainly my method is to help them to use their own intuition to figure out things. This usually works. I'm completely objective about "morals" and what they mean and who should have them. I'm the most nonjudgmental person I know. I have to admit that I'm a cynic who doesn't quite sugar coat my take on situations ... so while I'll be as sensitive as I can, I will be completely logical.

I think that I will do well on the Love and Learn team. I'll admit it. I'm a virgin and I'm abstaining from sex until someone I "click" with comes along to rock my world. Then its no holds barred from there.

To me the "no-sex-before-marriage" thing should only be taken seriously as a practicality. A way to avoid pregnancy, STD's and all those other nuisances that may come along with sex. I've had weird relationships with the opposite sex and you'll find out more about my experiences as I answer questions.

There is more to me that I have not really revealed yet. But as I answer questions and give my take on things you'll see more facets of me and my personality. I'm really excited to be a part of the team.
